Well... now they do Windows with Apple's blessings:
Macworld: New Apple software lets Intel Macs boot Windows
Apple: Boot Camp
Sure, there was Virtual PC for running Windows on Macs before this, but that was via emulation, which was more cumbersome than running it natively. Apple's Boot Camp lets you install and run Windows XP natively on your Intel-based Mac -- which some tech-savvy folks had already figured out how to do, but now we have Apple's help. I'm not interested in running Windows on my Mac, but this is pretty big news and I'm eager to see how the tech world reacts. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

I just don't get why anyone would want to infect a perfectly good computer with the XP virus. _________________ everybody knows that you only live a day/ but its brilliant anyway |

While I'm sure the move has insulted many purist Mac fans, my next buy will certainly be the MacBook Pro.
Of course, I said I would be buying a G5, too, when Michael mentioned it, but somehow the $500 tag on my current PC was all-too-enticing. _________________ Danny Baldwin
