So my sister got me an 8mm film camera for my birthday six months ago, which I'm dying to use, but I've found it's nearly impossible to buy any motion picture film in retailers around here. (There's one store in Milwaukee that sells Kodak film and it's only 16mm.) I've been trying to find websites where you can order preserved, unshot 8mm film since I don't think it's even produced anymore, but I've been having a bit of trouble.

If anybody could offer any advice, I would be forever grateful. (Oh, and I checked ebay - maybe I just looked at the wrong time, since I couldn't find any unshot 8mm for sale.)

I can't be of any help, sorry, but I do hope you find what you're looking for. I had Super 8mm as a teenager, and it is a blast. Good luck with your quest. I'll look around the Web and see if I can spot anything.
