The Pasadena Center is a state of the art facility perfect for The One Ring Celebration 2005. It is located directly opposite the gorgeous new outdoor shopping, restaurant and entertainment complex called The Paseo.
SHOW HOURS:
THURSDAY Evening (time to be announced): PRE-REGISTRATION for those coming all three days. Note: this is not mandatory, just a convenience for those that want to get their registration credentials set and save a wait on Friday

A Star Studded Gala!
We have extended invitations to many of the actors and production people behind Peter Jackson's incredible LOTR Trilogy, as well as talents from the worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien, old and new. We will begin announcing our amazing guest list in the weeks to come.

Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, Bruce Hopkins, John Rhys-Davies and Royd Tolkien (Great-grandson of JRR Tolkien) are all confirmed to appear at the One Ring Celebration, and we anticipate many more to come! Click here to read about our guests and keep up with new additions!
SCREENING OF THE TRILOGY!
We will be screening, from DVD, the complete Extended Editions of all three films!
Fan Film and Video Screenings
Aspiring Tolkien filmmakers will be able to showcase their work in our fan film and video screening room. The best of these submissions will be shown at the convention.

COSTUMING GALORE!
"Create a Little Piece of Middle Earth at Home"
This track will present several techniques on fashion recreations for the many races of Middle-earth. Costumes, armor, prosthetics, and general design themes from the movie trilogy will be discussed. Come see how you can transform yourself into your favorite LOTR character! An entire track of programming will be devoted to the art of costuming.

Middle-earth Fashion Show and Costume Contest
If you have a MIddle-earth costume, we want to see it. The costume contest is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30pm.
Yes, there is something for the kids!
Bring the kids and let them learn how to apply Elf Ears, create Tolkien themed arts and crafts, read some of Tolkien's classics out loud, and participate in a Sing-a-long with TORn's very own Singing Gandalf!
LOTR Art Show
Are you artistically inspired by the world of Middle-earth, or the characters that dwell within it? ORC will feature a comprehensive Tolkien themed Art Show. Get out your easels and be prepared to share your passion and creativity. All forms of art will be welcomed, including 3D, sculpture, and others.
Dealers Room and LOTR Exhibit
We will have exhibitors from around the world featuring arts, crafts and licensed Tolkien and LOTR merchandise. Sideshow Weta Collectibles will display their beautiful line of LOTR collectibles as well as their awesome full size recreations of Gollum, ORC warriors and more - don't miss this!
Middle Earth Breakfast and Charity Auction
A delicious breakfast banquet awaits at DELMONICO'S RESTAURANT which is located across the street from The Pasadena Center. This event will have limited seating and feature selected guest drop-ins. A silent auction benefiting several charities will be held during the
breakfast. Guests and ticket information (a separate ticket is required) will be announced shortly.
The 50th Anniversary Celebration (Friday 9pm)
A Dessert Party with Ice Cream, Anniversary Cake, the band WORLD WITHOUT SUNDAYS performing a concert, Karaoke, Dramatic Readings and other surprises. Cash Bar. On a diet? Not tonight, as we feast the night away on a fantastic array of delightful desserts including...Deluxe Ice Cream Service (gourmet tub ice creams, whipped cream, nuts, syrups, cherries, and assorted toppings) plus Gourmet Chocolate and Fruit Fondue Service (featuring two fondues, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate, with assorted fresh seasonal fruits and pound cake for dipping) plus Deluxe 50th Anniversary Sheet Cake!
The One Ring Awards Celebration (Saturday 9pm)
Join us for the first annual awards show for all things Tolkien. In a similar tradition to the previous Golden Gandalf's, 'The One Ring Awards' will incorporate art, literature, film and the spirit of Tolkien. Included with admission is a complimentary selection of delicious hors d'ouerves and snacks. Here's what to expect for "eats" on Saturday night: A Deluxe Hors D'Oeurves Service at the beginning of the Gala (a one hour service 9-10 pm) featuring the following premium selections:
- Herb Crostini with Peppered Tenderloin of Beef
- Miniature Peking Duck with Hoison Sauce
- Lobster Medallions on Green Apple
- Chicken Sate with House Made Peanut Sauce
- Coconut Shrimp with Pineapple-Apricot Dipping Sauce
- Vegan Roasted Eggplant and Olive Tapenade
A Cash Bar to continue into the evening with Premium and House Brands, Wines, and Beers.
Dress Code for the One Ring Awards Ceremony:
Business attire for men (i.e.coats and ties) and evening wear for ladies (i.e. cocktail dresses, pantsuits, etc). Casual wear, such as jeans or tennis shoes is prohibited. An alternative for men is a nice sports coat, and either a bolo tie or jewellry stud on a nehru style shirt, or even a true turtleneck shirt. For the women, the pantsuit should either be with a blazer or a nice sweater. Women don't have to wear heels, but dress shoes of some sort would be appropriate. And as always at a TORN party, Black Tie and Pointy Ear optional.
