Alright I was flipping through the channels today and TBS or TNT, one of em, was showing "The Fifth Element". Now personally i think it's a terrible movie, not one of Bruce Willis' best roles, but I think Chris Tucker's performance was interesting. None of his other roles have really stood out as his movies are all not too great. It was a very hokey role, but the speed and tone he had to use was very interesting. I really dont know what to think of it, but I think it was a difficult role to fulfill. Give me your thoughts on this. |

I enjoyed The Fifth Element quite a bit, even if the conclusion is rather anticlimactic. The set designs, costumes, and wonky tone reminded me of the type of story found in Heavy Metal illustrated by Moebius or in his style. _________________ "If you're talking about censorship, and what things should be shown and what things shouldn't be shown, I've said that as an artist you have no social responsibility whatsoever."

Just watched it again and it had some amusing lines to it such as Bruce Willis when asked by the cops to name his species
