A MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR RAMZI ABED!
Howdy everyone,
I really hope you're doing swell, and that life is turning its wonderful mysteries out, balancing out life's hardships and absurd horrors. Well, as I've told some of you before, some of my films are now out on dvd... and guess what, if you believe in anything, especially creativity, karma, and supporting your fellow sentient monkey/alien love machines... then you gotta, gotta (I repeat GOTTA!) get one of these durned DVDS...
THE DVD IS HERE!
http://www.geocities.com/henryheaz/dvd.html
You can now actually get it directly through our site:
http://bloodshotpictures.com
and for the meager price of $18.95, you'll get a real deal universal dvd (not a cheap dvd-r, but the real thing... and a beautifully designed dvd to boot!) with the 16mm color award-winning ( official selection of 26 film festivals worldwide!!) fesitval favorite, "THE TUNNEL" (starring cult moviemaking icon, Lloyd Kaufman (of "The Toxic Avenger", "Tromeo And Juliet", "Citizen Toxie" fame, www.troma.com ), indie movie hero, Mark Borchardt (of "American Movie" and the new "Scare Me" lore!, www.americanmovie.com ), and super sexy, Masuimi Max (her photos have graced the pages of magazines like Marquis and Bizarre, she's posed with people like Julie Strain and Dita Von Teese, and she's infamous for her site, www.iamtrouble.com ) ...
that's right, you'll get the 15 minute 2002 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL version of "THE TUNNEL", as well as two more films of mine... a brand new short cut of "THE INTERVIEW" (which WILL take you to another world), and the director's cut of the beautiful Super 16mm color film, "Nobody" (which was lensed by the brilliant DP, Michael Hofstein, and the Key Make-Up Artist was Elisabeth Fry (Key Make-Up Artist on "Cecil B. Demented", "I Am Sam", and "Crazy In Alabama"!)... as well as a brand new interview/documentary on me and Bloodshot Pictures... and that's not all... numerous other great cult films, shorts, and music videos, including the awesome trailer for our good buddy, Barak Epstein's new film, "Prison A Go Go", which also stars Lloyd Kaufman, as well as cult film legends, Mary Waronov ( "Deathrace 2000" and "Chelsea Girls") and Rhonda Shear ("USA Up All Night")... AND a special interview bonus feature with MICHAEL MOORE ("Bowling For Columbine")... no joke, y'all...
18 BUCKS AND 95 CENTAROOS... THAT'S ALL!!!!! GET IT HERE...
http://www.geocities.com/henryheaz/dvd.html
or just cut to the chase at http://www.geocities.com/henryheaz/dvds.html
All this thanks to Ken Westermann at SHORTKUTZDVD... and
BLOODSHOT PICTURES...
*And don't forget to grab one of them new fangled "The Art Of Pixelvision" dvds with my lil' thing, "Driving In Amman" on it... only from www.precious-realm.com
Well, what're ya waitin' fer...
All the best and all my artful lovin',
Ramzi

Wow... I can't believe anyone would help promote one of my things...
No one wants to buy the dvd though, right? I mean, why am I even alive.
Anyhow, thought I'd let parts of the cat out of the bag...
I'm directing a feature film based on the Black Dahlia's last days, and a lot of killer folks are confirmed... DAVID J (from Love And Rockets, Bauhaus, Jazz Butcher fame) and JOHN NEFF (Bluebob, and David Lynch's sound mixer. He mixed "Mulholland Drive") are composing the film's score, along with Gerard Marino, who is also contributing music, sound design, and helping produce the music. Ego Plum's orchestra will do the tunes. Julie Strain is in the film, along with a ton of other folks...
I don't want to publicize too much info yet... but pick up any of the weekly editions of the Hollywood Reporter and you'll find it in there... under "UNTITLED BLACK DAHLIA"...
Best,
R
