Clark: Hard to defend his work... I just like his brand of trash. He's not that far from Warhol or Richard Kern from a purely visual standpoint.

Besson: I don't like anything he did before or after these two. Leon is derivative, but I still think it's an excellent dramatic thriller. The relationship between Mathilda and Leon' was, imo, very moving.

Blow is just a place-keeper until I have more time to polish my list (geek!)

I just watched it this week for the second time and it's been on my mind.
