Well, one just like a second ago... I was sitting here and all of a sudden the TV turned on in the kitchen. I was kind of freaked out, but I found out that it turns on once your show is done being recorded it turns on. Ha, I was just like what the?
Or, when I dream about something, and it happens a few days later and it's like "woah" dejavu. Weird

Meeting George Lucas in London, in Hamley's toy store.
Yeah.

So you slapped him for the second half of Episode 2, right? _________________ "If you're talking about censorship, and what things should be shown and what things shouldn't be shown, I've said that as an artist you have no social responsibility whatsoever."

It was before he even made it, when I first got here.
But I almost kicked him in the nuts because of Jar Jar Binks. The sad thing is I asked him if he really was George Lucas -- silly thing to say, I know, but when I was twelve my intergalactic geekiness often got very intense --; he said "Yeah" and then walked away.
How rude. |

Rude indeed. Although I'm not sure kicking him in the nuts qualifies as hospitality.

Dude, I got chills reading that. Fascinating.
I've had similar deja vu experiences -- some of them related to dreams I've had, like yours -- but they're all fuzzy in my memory.
The weirdest thing that's ever happened to me... it happened about five or six years ago, when I was 17, and I'm not sure if I want to discuss it here. Ultimately, something terrible happened. And although I actually had no hand in it, I feel responsible for it, because of a lie I told that came true later the same day. The kicker, though, is that this "weird incident" was pretty much taken right out of a short story that I'd written several years prior (when I was 13 or 14), called "Thou Shalt Not Lie," about a girl whose casual lies start coming true, with tragic consequences.
Even when I think about it now, I don't believe it. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

You know, the annoying thing is, since I wrote that, I haven't had any deja vu or "deja dreams" at all, except for rare and brief moments that pass so quickly they're not worth lingering over. I used to be plagued with the sensation when I was in my teens, slightly less so in my early twenties, but now, nada. That was like my last big bang, as it were.
I'd love to read your story, by the way. _________________ "If you're talking about censorship, and what things should be shown and what things shouldn't be shown, I've said that as an artist you have no social responsibility whatsoever."

I know. Actually, I printed them off a couple weeks ago and have been looking forward to them ever since. ASAP, I promise!
