Very sad news. I was a huge fan of his work in film as well as his collaboration with Metallica.

I didn't know he won a Grammy for his collaboration with Metallica for "Call of Ktulu." One of my very favorite Metallica songs (natch). I think I prefer the original version on Ride the Lightning better, though.
