Well, I always put up a "Summer's Best List," but I'm definitely going to have to wait, and see some more independents...as of now. This list is miserable, just miserable. Includes all releases from May 31st to August 29th. Others will qualify for my end of the year list. Here it is:

1 ) The Magdalene Sisters

2 ) Whale Rider

3 ) The Hulk

4 ) Seabiscuit

5 ) Finding Nemo

6 ) American Splendor

7 ) Northfork

8 ) Open Range

9 ) Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

10 ) How To Deal

Awful; just awful. I'm ashamed that this is what it boiled down to. Of course, I haven't seen Swimming Pool, Dirty Pretty Things, or Thirteen...just to name a few.

My list is from May to August, all of each month, becausee many summer movies were released then.

2. The Hulk

3. Whale Rider

4. Johnny English

5. Seabiscuit

6. Spellbound

7. Terminator 3

8. The Italian Job

9. Freaky Friday

10. Bruce Almighty
