I'm enjoying "Sir Noiz'd'VoidofFunk" by Parliament, followed by "The Hardest Button to Button" by the White Stripes. |

Yeah, "Lux Aeterna" and "Hardest Button to Button" are both really good.
Right now it's the Eels, "Numbered Days," preceded by Pavement, "Spit On a Stranger."
Hey Wisconsinites, the Eels are coming to Madison Oct 20. I've been thinking about going, but it's a Monday (school night)... but I do have a lot of sick days saved up... (I never miss work; too much hassle preparing for a sub). Hmmm.

Canon in D Major by Pachelbel, followed by "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Bealtes. Both amazing songs. Listen to the Bangladesh version of WMGGW _________________ "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Yo La Tengo's "Tears Are In Your Eyes" from And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out. Oops... song's over (I have 500 songs in random rotation in iTunes) and now it's The Replacements' "Here Comes a Regular" from Tim. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

I agree: those are both wonderful pieces of music. It's tough to pick a favorite Beatles song, but "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" would probably be it for me.
Now it's Wilco's "How to Fight Loneliness" from Summer Teeth. Love this song. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

Alberto Iglesias' "Me Voy a Morir de Tanto Amor" (from one of those Landmark compilation CDs), preceded by Shigeru Umebayashi's "Yumeji's Theme" from In the Mood for Love. Lovely both.

Yes, that's wonderful. My favorite is "A Shot in the Arm," but I love the entire album. In fact, I'm switching over to "Via Chicago" right now...

Like Michael, I've got a heavy random rotation; I dedicate a second hard drive just to ripped files. Been listening all day, while writing.
Currently it is Beta Band's "Eclipse," preceded by Diana Krall's "I Get Along Without You Very Well" and Limp's "Passed Out."

Appleseed Cast's "Hanging Marionette" from Two Conversations. I'm really, really digging this album -- much moreso than any of their previous albums. Beautiful music; I enjoy writing to it. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

Guster's "Happier," preceded by Elvis Costello's "Every Day I Write the Book." I haven't heard anything from Costello's latest album, but I'm looking forward to it. Anyone heard it?
