I was born in Spain, fifteen years ago. I lived there for eleven years and then moved to the UK, where I learnt all the English I now know.

Fascinating--you're working on 4 years of English-speaking?
As for me, strictly Americana: Born in Florida, but a Wisconsinite for 27 years. I really love the Midwest, and consider the phrase "flyover country" xenophobic.

3 years and one month, actually. I came here in August 2000. And yes, many friends of mine dare admit that I know more English than them (as far as spelling goes - what can I say, I'm the king of that). |

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, lived in West Bend, Wisconsin, for seventeen years - Midwest all the way!!! I too will always consider this my home. |
