...Flipside Movie Emporium's DVD Release Dates section is back -- revamped and up-to-date.

FlipsideDVDs.com was just too much for me to handle, so I ditched it for the sake of my sanity. I'm sorry to those who found the site a useful resource (despite the fact that it was never really finished and I was always behind), but, hey, maybe you'll dig the new and improved DVD Release Dates section here. As always, I'm eager for comments and suggestions.

Of course, the demise of FlipsideDVDs.com means that I'll have more time to devote to Flipside Movie Emporium -- chatting in the forums and even writing reviews on a regular basis again. So it's for the best, I think.

If history tells us anything at all, it is that all good things have many revivals which are two times better than before. Unless you are Kiss ofcoarse. So heres to hoping this is not the end, but just a prolonged break allowing for an expansion of your talent in other areas...good day

Like a 10-best list? The suspense is killing me, man!

Heh heh heh. It might be finished by the end of the month...

(I've never been this late with my 10-best piece. Even Danny beat me.)

Although, that was because I had to get through thirteen reviews first. You, on the other hand....Only kidding.

Then again, I think Beltmann would've rather preferred waiting another year, had mine not included The Girl Next Door.

Dude, I didn't even make it past your overrated list. Once I saw Saddest Music on there, I knew the rest of the list was hopeless.

Wink

I'm pretty sure that Roeper and I are the only people who didn't get it.

I'm not much of a Roeper fan... too much of an apologist for middlebrow tastes. Maybe that makes me an elitist? Laughing

Well, I'm not one for his insights, but I agree with him, most of the time. Still, putting Spanglish of his Top 10 makes me wonder...

Actually, I rather liked Spanglish, mostly for the messiness at its center... it felt like a warm variation of life much of the time. Still, I doubt it would have cracked my Top 75.

This is what makes my life so sad. I doubt I come close to even seeing 75 films in a year, so to have a top 75 list is amazing.

Or maybe that's what makes my life sad.

A very good point.
