beltmann, check out the new snow patrol when it comes out. it's a dandy.
the pearl jam is very so-so. i've never bought into eddie vedder the singer and lyricist. i still don't. there are a few keepers to be sure, but they are almost cancelled out by the garbage.
the new prince, 3121, is a blast. he sounds as fresh and relevant as he did 20 years ago. |

That's already preordered as well. I really enjoyed the last album.
I've never been a huge Vedder fan, either, although I am struck by the band's sheer longevity. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I'm assuming it's the same way in Mexico since they also speak Spanish." - IMDb user comment |

Heck Yeah, Wish You were Here is roughly 45 minutes long and has 5 tracks. The Wall is a Master Piece.
And now let's top it off with the Best of the Best

Antony and the Johnsons - I Am a Bird Now
Had been meaning to pick this up since last year, but never got around to it, until yesterday, when a very cool student brought me a copy. My months-long hesitation was related to reports that his voice was an acquired taste, but I definitely like what I'm hearing so far. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. Paul Simon - Surprise
How do I know I'm getting old? As a kid I thought Paul Simon was just music for my parents, but now, at 31, I know that Pseudo Echo and Europe really sucked but Paul Simon is frickin' awesome. I love this album. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I like Paul Simon (S&G is great, Graceland is lovely), but so far I'm not really feeling this album. I'll give it some more time, though. _________________ Michael Scrutchin

S&G is great, but I think I'd like the new Simon stuff a lot more if the hit-song wasn't on MovieTunes every hour, on the hour. And since I've had about 75 hours worth of shifts this month, perhaps my annoyance is reasonable. _________________ Danny Baldwin

Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldier
I like it a lot. There are a half-dozen songs on this that are about as catchy as anything else I've heard this year.
Not really enjoying the new Pearl Jam, though. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I'm assuming it's the same way in Mexico since they also speak Spanish." - IMDb user comment |

See parent rock isn't so bad after all, beltmann. I enjoyed the album too. _________________ My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.
