Picture me saying the opposite of that and it'll save me the effort. |

Oh Beltmann, you know your sub-concious hates everything that isn't a current band that I haven't heard of. _________________ Danny Baldwin

What are you talking about? I love Rascall Flatts!
Seriously, I have nothing against well-known bands--I have tickets for both the White Stripes and U2 this month--if the music appeals to me. But the artists that could be considered "well-known" represent just a tiny fraction of current music that's worth checking out. Apply that logic to movies: Hollywood made a few terrific movies this summer, sure, but most of the summer's riches were found elsewhere. Neither one of us would want to skip those films merely because they never cracked the Top Ten.
And let me say right now that I pretty much hate any current bands that I haven't heard of. They suck. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I'm assuming it's the same way in Mexico since they also speak Spanish." - IMDb user comment |

I'll probably bring him in here if I buy his new new album in a few weeks. Maybe the Rollling Stones too - their new album sounds like it might be good. _________________ My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.

A few friends have heard the leaked album--they like it. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I'm assuming it's the same way in Mexico since they also speak Spanish." - IMDb user comment |

Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang
A rock and roll album that might be good enough to call a masterpiece. Good from start to finish. _________________ My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.

Yeah, but did you see that Hilary Duff has a Greatest Hits album? _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television. I'm assuming it's the same way in Mexico since they also speak Spanish." - IMDb user comment |

Nope. What does that have to do with the Stones? _________________ My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.

Haste The Day Burning Bridges & When Everything Falls
Given the fact that two of the members in my band are into the hardcore genre I decided to give this band, one of there favorites a listen. I do enjoy the gere of music, but not in a sense that I think it is something thats going to change the worlds, but that that expresses emotion in a way that an average voice can't. People ask me, and people that I know, why some bands feel the need to scream in there songs, and its simply an easier, and in my opinion more powerful, way of voicing the anger that the artist/song writer had at the time that he wrote the song. It is still not my favorite style of music because after a while it seems rather repetitive, and it really doesn't voice any other range of emotion. That is why when a band is riped on for crossing genres it angers me because it sometimes takes what some people consider the crossing of a genre to express another emotion or side of you character. _________________ One day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day, you will repent, and we will send you to whatever god you wish.

The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
Do you have it yet, Mr. Beltmann? I'd imagine you do, but if you don't, I could burn it for you.

Paul McCartney - Chaos and Creation in the Backyard
A very unique album. McCartney shows once again why he's such as great songwriter and musician. The free download from Best Best just sweetened the deal for me. Easily a masterpiece. _________________ My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.

I'm looking forward to September 27, the release date for the new Ryan Adams album but also new stuff from Elbow, Supergrass, and Neil Young. And the following week sees the US release of the Magic Numbers.
Have we already mentioned that Jonathan Demme is directing a Neil Young concert film? After his work with the Talking Heads and Robyn Hitchcock, I can't wait. _________________ "When I was in Barcelona they showed pornography on regular television.
