Fred,
On this mixtape, you have my favorite songs by Jurassic 5, The Roots, OutKast ("Behold a Lady"), GZA, and one of my favorites by Blackalicious. Splendiferous.
Do you like Soul Position or Atmosphere? They're both on the Midwest Rhymesayers label; SP is from Cleveland, Atmosphere from Minneapolis. Brilliant! |

I don't know of them, where do I start? Thanks for the comment on my mixtape, btw. _________________ "Pino, fuck you, fuck your fuckin' pizza, and fuck Frank Sinatra." |

Well, Atmosphere's best album is The Lucy Ford Sessions, while Soul Position only has an EP and one full-length, 8 Million Stories. I love Atmosphere: his lyrics are extremely personal and often self-deprecating. I'd recommend "Sound is Vibration," "Guns and Cigarettes," "Scapegoat," "F*!@k You Lucy," "The Bass and the Movement," "National Disgrace," "Nothing but Sunshine," "Cats Van Bags," and "Lovelife." Soul Position is one of the most promising new hip hop acts that I've heard. The songs "Fuckajob," "Inhale," "Unlimited," "Run," and "No Excuse for Loving" are all superb. |

My friend burned me a CD from this Spanish rap group called Los Orishas...they are OK, but I prefer being able to UNDERSTAND what these rappers are saying. _________________ "Pino, fuck you, fuck your fuckin' pizza, and fuck Frank Sinatra." |

I took only three of years of Spanish--most of which evaporated long ago--but did you just say that even a donkey knows more than Pablo? To clarify, does he know less than an American donkey, or a Spanish donkey?
