Yes, I own that one on DVD. It's certainly the second best in the series, and the twist that Craven takes us on is quite good. Freddy has seldom been better. And I highly recommend The Birds. Despite not being Hitch's greatetst it still is an impressive example of pure horror. The skillful un-use of music (if you know what I mean) is very, very effective. Scariest scene: Spoilers! The man with no eye. Creepy. /Spoilers!

What, in your opinion, is the scariest scene of the whole film?

Probably when the spector of the Grady twins appears before Danny in the hallway. Sends chills down my spine even if I watching the movie in a well-lit room at noon.

My thought exactly. Especially when you suddenly dismemebered parts of their bodies and blood on the wall... frightening.

How longs it been since you've seen this movie?

I remember it being o.k, but I was wrong, way wrong.

the early 80's technology was hilarious, and that

half an hour werewolf tranformation cracked me up.

I payed $1.50AU for it, and was severely ripped off.

I just watched it a couple weeks ago, after getting the special edition on disc; it's my favorite werewolf movie. What can I say, I think it's witty, has a good story and cool werewolves.

Oh, no, no, no. Last count, I think it was around seven. And if you didn't like the first, well, the quality plummets fairly quickly. That said, Howling III is cheesy fun, and as I remember it there's one that takes place in a circus and includes a vampire that's not so bad. And watch Howling: New Moon Rising at the peril of your sanity.

Hello everyone. I am with the international baccalaureate program and I am writing my extended essay on the effects of the Shining on the Stanely Hotel's success. I would love to interview some of you Stanely Kubrick's The Shining fans over IM or email. If any of you are interested in helping me by answering a few questions, that would be awesome. If you are interested, please email me at Mysvr5@aol.com or IM me at mysvr5 (that is my aol account obviously). I may not be able to check my email for a little while because my computer is down, and I am writing this from school. I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you so much for your time!
