As his country desends into madness, five-star hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina (Cheadle) sets out to save his family. But when he sees that the world will not intervene in the massacre of minority Tutsis, he finds the courage to open his hotel to over 1,200 refugees. Now, with a rabid militia at the gates, he has only his wits and words to help keep them alive another hour, another day.

Hotel Rwanda will be available on DVD April 12, 2005. Presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound, the DVD includes audio commentary by director Terry George and Paul Rusesabagina, with select commentary by Wyclef Jean and selected-scenes commentary by Don Cheadle. Rounding out the DVD are two documentaries ("A Message for Peace: Making Hotel Rwanda" and "Return to Rwanda") and the original theatrical trailer.
